The weather was great for the game and everyone had a wonderful time (especially taking advantage of the “Dollar Dog” promotion)! Dennis Fisher had the honor of throwing out a “first pitch” prior to the start of the game. The opportunity to socialize with other members is a major plus in addition to raising money for our local candidates. Look for a similar fundraiser to be held next June.
A total of 50 participants (individuals/PACs/companies) purchased 153 tickets to our event on Tuesday, June 19th.
Gross income was $5,281 ($1,700 from eight sponsor donations, $550 from cash donations, and $3,031 from individual ticket sales). We paid $1,224 for the tickets, leaving us with a profit of $4,057.
The profit will be donated among the Perry Warren, Steve Santarsiero, and Scott Wallace campaigns per approval by the Board of Directors.
Lastly, through the generosity of our members and friends, 16 tickets were donated to the Valley Youth House Warminster, a homeless shelter for teenagers.
